Alex Angers

Raised and rooted artist in Acadiana. I was known as the art-kid, then the art major and now professionally—Multidisciplinary Artist with a background in Graphic Design / Visual Design and Traditional Abstract Multimedia Visual Art. You may have not heard of me directly, but you've probably seen my work around Lafayette. I was behind the branding of Innovate South's Conference, Reve's Coffee Bags and recently, the AcA's 2024 Performance Season Catalog and 15'x3' Schedule Banner of Irma Thomas that proudly hung on the outside of the AcA's main entrance. I also created the logo for local creative collective, "LOUDHOUSE", where I also presented a series of work called: “Putrescence: A Reflection of What was Left Behind”. This series is a visual journey into healing from losing a loved one, and the impact of the hard relationship they shared before their passing.
