Austin Phillips Trio

My goal is to have a positive impact on the world through music. Austin Phillips is a Jazz Guitarist born and raised in Medina, Ohio. He started playing guitar at the age of 8 and soon after discovered Charlie Parker. He attended the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at The Hartt School where he was mentored by Nat Reeves, Steve Davis, Zaccai Curtis, Javon Jackson, and Rich Goldstein. Phillips has performed with musicians such as Peter Bernstein, Nat Reeves, Steve Davis, Ryan Sands Trio, and continues to grow as a young musician. Austin performs on a regular basis all over the east-coast at venues such as Black Eyed Sally's, Global Jazz Club, Dewey's Lounge, and continues to grow as a young musician.
