Edgar Miller

My name is Edgar Miller, and I am a native Texan living in Fort Worth. I am a portrait, commercial, and fine art photographer. My journey with photography started in the darkroom back in 1979 - yes, it means I'm from the film era! With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, my passion extends beyond photography, drawing, and painting to include a solid knowledge base in science and math. My photography draws inspiration from my late father and also from my college photo professor, Keith Carter. Capturing people in their best light is one of my greatest joys. Whether photographing families, high school seniors, couples, or pets, I create relaxed, comfortable settings that allow authentic personalities to shine through. Seeing the joy on my clients' faces as they view their portraits is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. For commercial photography, my technical expertise ensures that every subject - whether it's a product, location, or promotional material - is captured with precision and vibrant detail. I use high-resolution cameras and industry-standard color calibration to ensure your vision translates seamlessly from print to screen. My fine art photography is an extension of my early artistic training. Over the past three decades, I've exhibited my work in Texas and national exhibitions, receiving awards and earning spots in private collections. I'm a proud member of the Texas Photographic Society and the Texas Artists Coalition. She also is my equipment specialist (which means she holds camera equipment on shoots). We added that in our marriage vows; "To have and to hold my camera gear..." I also love the outdoors, specifically, the mountains, and my favorite food group is chocolate chip cookies!
