Hello! Welcome to the sign up form for the New Hobby, New Haven event AKA the New Haven Hobby Fair! We are asked often not only about events happening in New Haven, but ways to get more involved, make new friends, learn new skills, make art, volunteer, and do more in the local community. As you are organizers of awesome groups that fit the answers to these questions, we are excited to invite you to apply to table at this one-of-a-kind event! You will be provided a 6ft table and a warm, welcoming space to communicate with potential new friends and participants - the rest is up to you! Please plan to come prepared with: - Informed people to staff your table the entire length of the event - Some signage, tabletop decor/signage/information, posters, etc. - Flyers and information about your group in general AND/OR upcoming gatherings, including information on how to stay in touch with your group (social media handles, email list signup info, a website, etc.) - Giving away promotional items is not at all required or necessary, but if you've got 'em I'm sure attendees would love to have them! The following types of commerce are permitted, but please keep in mind that this is not a traditional market to sell retail goods; this is an information-based fair: - General donations in support of the club/group/organization (please have a data-enabled device to accept these, as we cannot guarantee wifi in the event space) - Monetary transactions for memberships to clubs/groups - Monetary transactions to future classes and workshops - Sales of branded merchandise in support of the club/group/organization Date: Saturday, January 18th Time: 12-4PM Location: 50 Orange Street, New Haven Pride Center
