About Open Studios 2023: Open Studios Acadiana isn't just an event; it's your canvas to open your home/studio and display your talent while engaging with your community. This self-guided tour takes art lovers on an intimate journey from one artist's home or studio to another across the 705 zip code. It's your chance to open your creative space to the world and share your unique vision with a captivated audience! OPEN STUDIOS: When: Saturday, November 18 & Sunday, November 19 Time: 10-5pm Due date to register as an artist: October 31st Opportunity open for all artists What's needed from you to participate: Must have an art studio for the public to tour Must complete our Google Form by October 31, 2023. Artwork: Consider contributing one small piece for the ACA exhibit (optional). Alternate Participation: If you'd rather not open your home or studio, you can still take part in Open Studios 2023. Submit your work for display at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Downtown Lafayette. Your art will be showcased during November and December's 2nd Saturday ArtWalks. It's a free opportunity, and your pieces won't be donations; they will be loans and you'll get them back unless they sell. If your work is for sale the ACA may sell your artwork and retain 20% of the sale price. Unsold pieces can be collected at the end of the exhibition.
