Nikya Life is a dynamic and multi-talented artist who has carved out a unique space for herself in the music industry as an independent black-queer singer-songwriter, audio engineer, and dancer. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, she began her artistic journey at the young age of seven, writing poems that evolved into songs shared with her family and friends. Influenced by Soul/R&B legends like Etta James and Anthony Hamilton, as well as Hip-hop/Rap icons such as Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill, and J. Cole, Nikya blends various genres to create music that resonates deeply with her audience. A graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts, Nikya is not only a performer but also an accomplished mix engineer and producer. Her work as an audio engineer and producer is characterized by her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to craft soulful, uplifting tracks. Her upcoming debut project, "So…Here’s What Happened," showcases her journey and experiences, marking a significant milestone in her career.
