About
Laugh is a Puerto Rican performing artist, theater maker, and arts educator based in Hartford, CT. A current Artist of Color Accelerate Fellow with The 224 Ecospace and Ensemble Member of HartBeat Ensemble, he is a proud Central Connecticut State University alumnus with a BFA in Theater Performance. Laugh began his creative path as a spoken word poet and has since grown into a multidisciplinary storyteller working across live performance, audio recording, digital content, and arts-based marketing. As a BIPOC artist and cultural worker, Laugh blends performance with purpose, using his platform to uplift underrepresented voices and create access to the arts. His work bridges creative expression with community development, offering services in content creation, storytelling strategy, theatrical direction, and public engagement campaigns. Laugh has built lasting partnerships with schools, nonprofits, universities, and independent clients. His consulting and creative services support organizations in building structured, equity-focused programs that speak directly to their intended populations. A strong advocate for youth arts programming and creative entrepreneurship, Laugh has spent much of his career designing workshops and curricula that help young people develop their artistic talents and turn their creative passions into income-generating opportunities. Whether facilitating a poetry residency, leading theater-based training, or producing branded storytelling content, Laugh fuses authenticity, cultural resonance, and artistic excellence to leave a lasting impact.
