I’m Ryan Marquez, a multi-talented artist, producer, songwriter, arranger, and vocalist from Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri. With deep roots in Blues, Jazz, and Hip-Hop culture, my music merges these genres to create a unique, accessible sound that captivates audiences worldwide. My work blends jazz piano mastery with pop sensibility, progressive R&B, house, and hip-hop, resulting in "feel-good vibes" that resonate deeply with listeners. My music is deeply influenced by the traditions of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, blending lush harmonic textures, empowering lyrics, and soulful expression. I’m known for my exceptional keyboard skills and unique vocal flavors, having worked with esteemed artists such as Terence Blanchard, Chance The Rapper, Fred Wesley, Wiz Khalifa, and many others. My music has been featured on platforms like MTV, VH1, BET, ESPN, and FOX, and I was honored with a 2023 Blues Music Award for my contributions to Dylan Triplett’s breakout album *Who Is He?* As a sonic storyteller, I’m passionate about pushing artistic boundaries. My music offers a rich tapestry of metaphysical experiences, spiritual transcendence, and social commentary, with themes like light versus darkness and the interplay of time and space. Beyond music, I extend my creativity through collaborations with artists from diverse fields, including painters, dancers, XR designers, and theater artists, believing that multidisciplinary partnerships fuel innovation and new forms of expression. My album *Saint Unity* exemplifies my role as a scene-pollinator within the vibrant St. Louis music community. Through this project and my continued collaborations, I aim to elevate the global arts community while championing peace, justice, and human rights for all. In addition to my musical career, I actively contribute to Missouri’s arts ecosystem through residencies, grants, and support for arts organizations such as The Kranzberg Arts Foundation, The Recording Academy, and Jazz St. Louis.
