Art of Tao LaBossiere

Tao LaBossiere is a full-time multidisciplinary working artist since 1997 who paints murals and creates mixed media artwork and sculptures as a creative service for businesses and organizations. Additionally, Tao creates commissioned illustrations and has restored damaged artwork for decades. Tao will consider almost any creative challenge in the spirit of maintaining a sustainable living as an artist. Tao seeks projects that enable him to create public artwork that emphasizes his creative self-expression, perspective, and voice as an artist beyond art as a commercial service. Tao is grateful for any opportunity to create art that addresses social and environmental issues through murals and sculptures of artistic merit that incorporate humor and irony to see the world through the creative eyes of the artist working for the greater good whenever possible. He works with his wife Amy on Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC, a certified minority-owned business with Asian distinction in Connecticut. Tao has been the volunteer co-director of Hartford ArtSpace Gallery for 25 years.
